EmotiMail

Description:

If you like (graphical) smileys, you'll love EmotiMail. This easy to use utility makes inserting funny (or sad, or indifferent, or crazy,...) emoticons in emails a drag and drop affair, and a lot of fun. EmotiMail comes with a huge collection of graphical smileys, some are even animated. But adding new smileys (from the Web, for example) is as easy as drag and drop, too, and EmotiMail lets you organize your collected emoticons cleanly. Unfortunately, though, EmotiMail only works with messages that use HTML formatting, and doesn't set the "alt" tag of the images it inserts.

Features:

  • EmotiMail lets you insert emoticons in email messages easily by drag and drop.
  • Comes with a collection of predefined smileys ready to be used.
  • Lets you add new emoticons from the Web via drag and drop.
  • Smileys can be organized in folders.
  • Works with Outlook Express 5/6, Netscape 6/7, Mozilla 1.x, Outlook 2000/2002 and IncrediMail Xe.
  • EmotiMail supports Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP.

This would have been a good programme had the creators not assumed that everyone is happy to have obsene language and gestures with their emoticons. I uninstalled it. A shame, cos it would have been good other than that. I realise I could have deleted the individual offensive emoticons, but it ticks me that I should even have to. Thanks anyway. Ciao....Me.
