The MAAD Tool (Management Aid To Active Directory) a powerful management tool to help Active Directory (AD) administrators maintain the content of AD user and contact objects.

It is important for an organization to keep their AD updated because Exchange 2000 uses AD to build global addressing information. It is also quite common for a business to change Department names, Office Names, addresses or even the Company name. For this reason the MAAD Tool is a great tool to have on hand.

Target a specific Organizational Unit (OU) to perform bulk changes to User Object and Contact Object properties. Dynamically filter user or contact objects within an OU based upon existing values in key fields such as: Company, Department and Office.

Fields which can be currently updated in bulk include: Company Name, Department Name, Office name, Business Address, Postal Address.
When used in conjunction with fax server
msXfax XP, the Notes field can also be updated for msXfax XP keywords.

MAAD Tool runs on Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems.
